WIC – Women, Infants & Children Nutritional Program: a nutrition, education, and supplemental food program for low-income women, infants and children. The program provides nutrition counseling, food vouchers, height, weight, and blood iron monitoring and prenatal, infancy & parent education and health services.
Area Agency on Aging: responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering services which supports older residents, their families and caregivers.
Commodities: The Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program provides food to eligible households four times a year in Fremont County, must meet criteria.
Fremont County Head Start: Head Start is a center based preschool program for low-income families. Children ages 3 to school age qualify for this program based on income, need, and age. Ten percent of the services are reserved for special needs children.
GED Program: GED provides testing for the General Education Development test.
Housing Department: Homebuyer Counseling, Housing Rehabilitation, Mutual Self-Help Housing and Section 8 Housing
Workforce Center: serves job seekers, employers and employees by providing a wide array of employment and training services at no charge.
