If you are worried about your childs social and emotional development, ECHO has excellent resources for you.
Crib to Kindergarten is a collaborative program that supports young children’s emotional health. Since early childhood mental health lies within the parent-child relationship, services are provided to the family.
A child can be referred by a parent, an agency, and a preschool site or through community screening or evaluation. A child might be referred if a baby is not eating or sleeping, a child has problem establishing relationships, a mother is depressed, or for a variety of social/emotional issues or family circumstances.
An Early Childhood Behavior Support Team provides services at preschool/childcare sites for children with challenging behavior. The program now offers services to women with post partum depression and to their children.
